Anthony Vultaggio currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at SMX®. Anthony brings over 25 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering market-leading technical products and services.

As CTO, Anthony establishes SMX strategy and technology investments, ensuring that the company’s technology innovations are optimized to support the corporate strategy and aligned with existing and future client needs. He is responsible for overseeing SMX corporate enterprise IT services, client security solutions, and the development of the SMX Elevate℠ Intelligent Automation Platform and solutions. Anthony is also responsible for building and supporting strategic partnerships, supporting due diligence of potential acquisitions, and leveraging them to achieve harmony and value for clients and SMX.

Under his leadership, SMX has developed numerous successful large-scale cloud solutions for major clients in both the private and public sectors. Anthony was a co-founder of SMX Cloud services in 2009 and was the lead architect for the development of the SMX Cloud Assured Managed Services (CAMS) platform which later evolved into the foundation for the SMX Elevate Intelligent Automation Platform (IAP). The IAP is the first of its kind, a multi-tenant MSP/MSSP and service automation capability which can be used to achieve FedRAMP authorization. Anthony also holds several professional certifications from AWS, Google, Microsoft, and Cisco.

Prior to joining SMX in 2000, Anthony served honorably as a United States Marine, where he supported our nation’s warfighters’ cyber security, networks, and information superiority. Anthony and his wife of more than 25 years live in Hollywood, MD with their three children. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, kayaking, tending to their chickens, and spending time on the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay.
