Government Agency – Pre-Transition Consulting Services

Program Spotlight: For the Executive team of a major Government agency considering a transition to Google Cloud, SMX conducted an in-depth presentation of the Google Cloud Platform, including data analytics, containers, Kubernetes, Anthos, and multi-cloud container management. We provided information sessions on IT industry trends and agency options for integrating innovative technology with recommendations for a Zero Trust strategy. The customer then engaged SMX to establish two pilot environments for using Kubernetes and Google Anthos capabilities and provide a written review of its cloud strategy and container technology recommendations.

Healthcare Organization – Cloud Platform Evaluation

Program Spotlight: For a leading health insurance organization, the challenge was fast growth and new capabilities that created unmanaged cloud sprawl. SMX was brought in to evaluate five cloud platforms and develop unified architecture, security, and operations patterns. Using the SMX FAST program, we developed a customer-centered, cloud-supported approach to enable business units to adopt the right cloud for their needs. Several Google-first initiatives were surfaced, designed, and accelerated into production, including a board-level project to automate customer interaction through a Google-powered AI-driven chat bot.

Educational Institution – HIPAA Workloads Migration

Program Spotlight: A top University engaged SMX to deliver a HIPAA compliance seminar conducted within a Google Cloud Platform environment to support the migration of several HIPAA workloads. With our Google Cloud and HIPAA Compliance expertise, we quickly provided a successful migration solution. Our team also provided the customer with a research handbook to provide clear and comprehensive guidance for researchers to understand and apply the concepts and processes for ongoing compliance.

Global Call Center Organization – Infrastructure

Program Spotlight: SMX assisted a global provider of a cloud-based call center platform in making its cloud provider of choice Google Cloud. This choice was the best-fit solution for the customer because of the need for a high-performance infrastructure to meet expectations of very minimal latencies, and because Google’s global infrastructure supported the customer’s expanding global customer base. Our Cloud Assured team worked with the organization’s CEO and CTO to develop their cloud-optimized, ‘all-in’ migration strategy.
